Disney Cruise Dining - Disney Wonder Character Breakfast
Each
stateroom is given, upon request at the shore excursions deck when you first
board, tickets to one character breakfast. When board the ship we went straight
to change our dining time, but following that we went to the shore excursions
desk and received our tickets. Doing so in a timely, and early, manner made it
so that our character breakfast was the next morning.
So
bright and early, alright, after a trip to the gym, we headed to Animator’s
Palate to dine with Mickey.
Upon
being seated, our server made us napkin hats! We were then offered pastries –
all of the ones that we tried were delicious.
This
breakfast is a la carte. You can choose as much from the menu you as you want,
but we kept things pretty simple.
We
sampled the Ham and Cheese Omelet with hash browns and sausage. The omelet
itself was super cheesy, the sausage and hash browns were standard, but quite
tasty.
The
Hawaiian Shores was scrambled eggs with a slice of grilled ham and pineapple.
The eggs themselves needed to be salted and peppered at the table, we would
rather be able to salt our food to get it to where we want it than to have
something overly salted.
Lastly
we sampled the Mickey’s Delight. This was a kid’s meal that consisted of a
chocolate chip pancake, fruit, and a Mickey waffle. The pancake fluffy and full
of chocolate. The fruit was a melon medley that was juicy and sweet. And the
Mickey waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way
you want a waffle to be.
While
we ate characters came around the dining room to meet with guests and to take
pictures. We met sailor Pluto, Minnie and Mickey!
Overall,
it was a good way to start off the day! We recommend attending the character
meal on your cruise, it is a great way to meet characters and to start off your
day with a filling meal.
