Planning a Disney World Trip in 7 Steps
It
has been one busy week, so it’s nice to be able to sit down and focus on Disney
for a few minutes. This week we’ll give you an overview of how to plan a Disney
World trip; and in the next few weeks we’ll give you a more in depth look at
each of the steps. Happy planning!
Step
1: Decide on a time frame.
·
When
do you want to go?
·
How
long do you want to spend in Orlando?
Step
2: Decide where to stay.
·
Do
you want to stay on or offsite?
·
If
you want to stay onsite, which resort is best for you?
Step
3: Park Tickets
·
Do
you just want a base, one park per day ticket?
·
Do
you want a Park Hopper Ticket
·
Do
you want to be able to go to the two Disney water parks?
Step
4: Dining Plan.
·
Is
the dining plan right for you?
·
Which
dining plan do you want to purchase?
Once
you’ve made a decision on the first four steps, book your trip! [You can book
a flight through the Disney website, but you can also wait until closer to your
trip so that you can snag cheaper airline tickets.]
Step
5: Make Dining Reservations. (Up to 180 days from the start of your vacation.)
·
Which
restaurants do you not want to miss out on?
Step
6: Transportation.
·
How
do you want to get to Orlando?
·
If
you fly into Orlando, how do you want to get from the airport to your resort?
Step
7: Book Fastpass+ (Up to 60 days from the start of your vacation.)
·
Which
attractions do you want to experience with minimum wait times?
Step 8: Enjoy your vacation!
