Step 3: Park Tickets
Park
Tickets
Once
you have decided when and how long to go to the World for it’s time to decide
which park tickets are right for you.
There
are technically four ticket options:
The
Base Ticket Option- This ticket allows you to enter on park per day. You may
leave the park and return on the same day, but it must be the same park that
you left.
The
Park Hopper Ticket- This ticket allows you to “hop” between parks on the same
day. You could essentially go to all four parks within one day.
The
Water Park Fun & More Ticket- This ticket allows you to have access to one of
the two Disney water parks per day. Also included is the option to visit
DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and the
three mini golf courses, however you are only able to visit one area per day.
The
Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More Ticket- This ticket allows you to
have to “hop” between theme parks as well as the water parks.
If
you only want to dedicate each day to one theme park and have no desire to dine
in separate parks on the same day- save yourself the money and go with the base
ticket option.
If
you want to have the ability to go between parks on the same day the Park
Hopper option is right for you. For example with this option you can have
breakfast in the Magic Kingdom, then spend the afternoon at Epcot, and then you
could even return to Magic Kingdom for dinner or find your way to Hollywood
Studios for Fantasmic. Another great use for this ticket is if you only want to
spend half a day at Animal Kingdom (your second day at this park perhaps) you
could then spend the remainder of the day at another park. This is the option
that we use.
The
other two options I know nothing about. I have never been to a Disney water
park and truthfully I don’t plan to go to one anytime soon, if at all.
I
can’t tell you which option to pick. I can tell you, though, that the Park
Hopper option is definitely worth the extra money if you want that extra
flexibility.
