What's Included on a Disney Cruise?
Cruising
is our favorite way to vacation! We’ve said it before, and we’ll definitely be
saying it again because there’s fun, food and travel all in one place. You only
need to unpack once and on most occasions, especially on longer sailings, you
can see multiple destinations all one of trip all while getting to return to
the same room each night. Another reason we really enjoy cruising is because so
much is included in the cruise fare!
It
is important to note that there are offerings onboard that are not included in
the price of the cruise – these include specialty and adult beverages, adult
only dining, onboard photo packages, souvenirs, the nursery, packaged foods or
snacks at the theater, shore excursions or gratuities.
There
is, however, so much to see, do, explore and enjoy onboard the Disney Cruise
Line ships that won’t cost you any extra and today we’re going to tell you all
about them!
Dining
Main Dining Rooms – Each ship has
three main dining restaurants, each offering a uniquely themed menu full of delicious
eats. The best part, is you it’s all you care to enjoy – go ahead and order
both entrees or both desserts that sound delicious (we like to share when we
order more than one).
Quick Service
Options – Located
on the pool deck the various quick service options offer quick eats like pizza,
burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, fruit and more. There’s something for
everyone including self-serve soft serve ice cream!
Beverages - Soft drinks, milk, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the main dining rooms and at the 24 hour self serve beverage stations are all included! (Keep in mind, though, that specialty beverages, adult beverages, specialty coffees and drinks purchased in the bars and lounges are extra.)

Room Service – Most of the items
on the room service menu, including sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs, cookies
and milk and cake of the day are including in the cost of the cruise. It is
always a good idea to tip the person that bring your treats, though. We
recommend the cookies and milk and cake of the day before bed time!
Entertainment
Deck Parties – Whether in the
lobby or on the pool deck, deck parties offer fun for everyone! Don’t miss out
on the Sailaway Party, the official start to your vacation, or the Pirate Night
deck party that includes fireworks at sea! Be sure to check your Personal Navigators
for all of the deck parties on your sailing!
Movies – Catch a movie on
deck on the giant Funnel Vision TV or in the onboard movie theater.
Live Music – Live music can be
heard in places throughout the ship during your cruise. Sometimes you’ll catch
it by the adult pool, or in the Promenade Lounge, in one of the clubs or on
stage.
Broadway Style
Musicals – Each
ship offers live Broadway style musicals on stage for all to see. Don’t miss
out on your chance to see these amazing shows.
Kid’s Clubs

make friends in this club that is only for those ages 14-17.
Sports/Pools
Pools and Splash

as well as a smaller pool perfect for little ones that are just learning to
swim and an adult only pool. The splash areas, like Nemo or Dory’s Reef and the
Nephew Splash Zone are great for kids that aren’t potty trained yet, and can’t
use the pools. And the AquaLab offers a splash area for the bigger kids and
kids at heart. (Those that are not potty trained must wear swim diapers in the
splash zone. Swim diapers are not allowed in the pools.) Each ship also has at
least one waterslide.
Sports Deck – The sports deck is
a great place to bond as a family or make new friends! Practice your soccer or
basketball skills, enjoy a game of ping pong or foosball, and on the Dream and
Fantasy enjoy a game of mini golf! It’s all available with stunning views!

calories so that you don’t feel bad about that extra dessert!

Scuttle’s Cove – Scuttle’s Cove is
an extension of the Oceaneer Club and Lab, but instead of being on the ship it
is on Castaway Cay. Kids ages 3-12 can enjoy fun in the fun here while parents
enjoy the adult only beach.

so much to see, do and eat on a Disney Cruise, and much of it is included!
