Disney Cruise Line Personal Navigators

If you’ve read posts about Disney Cruises, including ours, you’ve probably seen the term Personal Navigators. You’ve also probably wondered what they are – that’s what we’re here to talk about today!

Personal Navigators are your source of information while on a Disney Cruise. They include all of the important times like:
The Muster Drill (On the first day before you leave port)
Deck Parties (Sail Away, Pirate, Frozen, Deck the Deck, etc.)
Character Meet and Greets (And locations)
Movie Times
Restaurant Hours
Pool Hours
Youth Club Hours
Spa and Fitness Room Hours
Shop Hours
Arrival and Departure Times for Ports

This information is all contained on a piece of paper that is easy to carry with you and it is easy to find what you’re looking for! Restaurant, pool, spa, and youth club hours in a list. Character meet and greets and activities are listed on the front side of the Navigator and also listed on a chart that is broken down by times on the back!

The expected weather for the day as well as any important information like activity sign-ups or time changes and the Drink of the Day are also listed.

You receive your first Navigator at the Port when you check in. After that each Navigator is left in your stateroom during turndown for the next day. We like to look over the next day’s before we go to bed.

Not into carry a paper around with you, don’t worry there is also the Personal Navigator App.

The App incudes all of the same information as the paper as well as photos of the Drink of the Day and restaurant menus. You can set reminders and the app also allows you to “text” others that have the app and that you are connected with. Those that wish to use these features can do so my connecting to the ships WiFi. WiFi is free only for app use.

We highly recommend downloading the app even if you’re like us and plan to use the paper version as well. Once you download the app you may be a bit disappointed – there’s not much there – don’t worry, all of the fun stuff shows up once you’re on the ship! In the meantime, the app counts down until you sail away! (As long as you enter the date of your sailing that is.)

Being in the know is easier than ever on a Disney Cruise with Personal Navigators delivered to your stateroom, extras available by the Guest Services desk, character times posted in the lobby, and the Personal Navigator App.

Do you prefer the paper or electronic version?
