Our Favorite Disneyland Eats
Food
is a HUGE part of the Disney experience and at Disneyland there are so many
amazing dining choices to pick from. We have tried a lot of delicious eats, and
sadly some of our favorites can no longer be found on the menu, but there are
still quite a few eats that we can’t pass up when we visit the Disneyland
Resort. Today we have for you our ten favorites Disneyland eats.
Mickey
Sink Sundae - It’s ice cream and a souvenir! There are five flavor options and
each one sounds delicious! We’ve tried two, the Oswald which has vanilla and
chocolate ice cream and a chocolate dipped banana! And the Chocolate Chip
Cookie Hot Fudge which has two scoops of vanilla ice cream and two chocolate
chip cookies. Yum! These delicious sundaes and other tasty ice cream treats can
be found at Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream at Disney California Adventure
Park.
Dole
Whip – This might be our favorite snack in all of Disneyland. If you don’t know
what a Dole Whip is you’re missing out! Sweet, creamy and cool pineapple soft
serve – yum! If you’re like us and really love pineapple, opt for the Dole Whip
Float which is a Dole Whip with pineapple juice. You can find these delicious
treats at the Tiki Juice Bar just inside of Adventureland.
Corn
Dogs – We’re all big corn bread fans and when you put delicious, golden corn
breading on a hot dog you have a sold. The corn dogs from the Little Red Wagon
located on Main Street are our choice.
Bread
Twists – These treats are great for sharing and eating while you make your way
from one attraction to another. There are a variety of flavors to choose from,
and new flavors pop up seasonally. Our favorite, though, is the Cheddar Garlic
Bagel Twist. Just thinking about these warm bread treats makes me want to plan
a trip! You can find bread twists at Maurice’s Treats in Fantasyland and the
Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land.
Funnel
Cakes – Soft, warm fried dough topped with powdered sugar – yum! You can opt
for the original, which is delicious, or
you can get a slightly more decadent topping like strawberries or chocolate
brownie! Chocolate and strawberries go well together, don’t they? Go for half
and half! These are available at the Stage Door Café in Frontierland. Specialty
funnel cakes, like Churro Funnel Cakes (yum!) and Blueberry Lemon Funnel Cakes
can be found at the Hungry Bear Restaurant in Critter Country.
Rancho
Del Zocalo – We know, this is a restaurant and not a single menu item, but it
deserves to be here. Delicious, flavorful food and LOTS of it. We have eaten
here twice and look forward to eating here the next time we make it out to
California. With burritos, tacos, enchiladas and more there is something on the
menu for everyone. Stop by while you’re in Frontierland for breakfast, lunch or
dinner.
Royal
Street Veranda – Royal Street Veranda can easily be missed, after all it is
just an order and pick-up window with a few tables by Pirates of the Caribbean
in Adventureland. Soup in a bread bowl is the main draw here. The Clam Chowder
is creamy and full of calm pieces. The gumbo is also hearty and slightly spicy.
Both are perfect with the bread they are served in. Either soup can easily be
shared, too!
Turkey
Legs – Everyone talks about the turkey legs, but they deserve to be talked
about. These turkey legs are HUGE – they’re easily shareable. Salty, meaty
goodness – yum. These delicious treats can be found at various locations
throughout the parks.
Flo’s
V8 Cafe – Cars Land is AMAZING! It is our favorite place in all of Disney
California Adventure. While we’re in Cars Land we like to grab a bite to eat
and the perfect place to do so is Flo’s. Enjoy diner favorites like an American
Breakfast or Roast Beef and Cheddar.
Chocolate
Covered Pineapple – Yum, pineapple! If you like pineapple stop by the candy
counter in the Emporium for this juicy, sweet chocolate covered treat.
Yum!
They’re all just so good! What is your favorite Disneyland eat?
