Step 3: Park Tickets

Park Tickets Once you have decided when and how long to go to the World for it’s time to decide which park tickets are right for you. There are technically four ticket options: The Base Ticket Option- This ticket allows you to enter on park per day. You may leave the park and return on the same day, but it must be the same park that you left. The Park Hopper Ticket- This ticket allows you to “hop” between parks on the same day. You could essentially go to all four parks within one day. The Water Park Fun & More Ticket- This ticket allows you to have access to one of the two Disney water parks per day. Also included is the option to visit DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and the three mini golf courses, however you are only able to visit one area per day. The Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More Ticket- This ticket allows you to have to “hop” between theme parks as well as the water parks. If you only want t

Step 2: Where to stay?

Where do you want to stay? The first decision that needs to me made in this step is whether you want to stay on or off-site? There are definite advantages to staying onsite at a Disney owned hotel. These include access to the parks during Extra Magic Hours, the ability to purchase the dining plan, and free transportation. Anyone can use Disney transportation, even those staying offsite. However if you are staying at a Disney owned hotel getting to the parks is as easy as walking out of your resort and getting on a bus/boat/monorail. Guests staying off-site have the ability to use a shuttle specifically for their hotel to access the parks, but these may have additional costs or need to be requested in advance. Guest both on and off-site, if they choose, can drive to the parks—guests staying offsite will need to pay to park. Now, if you do choose to stay offsite Disney recommends certain hotels. http://www.wdwgoodneighborhotels.com/browse-hotels/ If you choose to stay

Be Our Guest Review (Dinner)

Image
Be Our Guest, located in the New Fantasyland section of Magic Kingdom, is the newest restaurant in Magic Kingdom. The Beauty and the Beast themed restaurant opened in 2012 with the first part of the New Fantasyland expansion. Although it has been open for two and a half years it is still one of the hardest reservations to score. Currently, Be Our Guest serves lunch and dinner; there are rumors though that breakfast may be served in the future. Lunch is a Quick-Service option, and starting on the 25 th you will be able to make Advance Dining Reservations for your counter-service meal. After the lunch rush Beast’s castle is transformed into a table service restaurant. So, come join us as we tell you of our experiences in the Beast’s castle. We dined here for both lunch and dinner, but today we’ll be focusing on dinner. The check-in desk for Be Our Guest is at the beginning of the bridge by the stroller parking, once you have checked in and received your pager you will m

Step 1: Pick Your Dates.

When do you want to go?  Deciding the time of year during which you want to go to the World is the first important step in planning your trip. Do you want to brave the Florida heat in May through August? Do you want to take the kids out of school so that you can avoid some of the crowds? Do you want to be there for a holiday? All of these questions are important when it comes to planning your trip. I have never been to Disney in months other than January, February, and September; however, I have heard that it gets HOT in the summer time. (The average high for July and August is 91.5°.) Summer is also the time when most schools are out for summer vacation and parents won’t hesitate to take their kids for this reason– this means major crowds on top of major heat. On our last trip I spoke to a Cast Member that mentioned that there is no off-season anymore. There should still be slightly smaller crowds in mid-to-late January, February, early May, and
