Our Perfect Day at Magic Kingdom

The Walt Disney World Resort is full of magic. Truthfully, I think of Disney World at least once a day. I know, I know, I have a bit of a Disney problem.

For the last few weeks, we’ve been talking about what all we would see, do, and eat on our perfect day at each of the Disney World theme parks. Today we have reached the last of the four parks, Magic Kingdom.

There’s just something special, something magical about walking down Main Street U.S.A. with the castle looming up ahead. One of the first things we do every time we enter Magic Kingdom, is take a photo of the castle. After that we need to make a choice, which way are we going to go? It depends on what the kids want to ride, or who all is on the trip.

On my solo trip in October 2020, I went straight towards Frontierland and Splash Mountain. It looks like for our next trip, that Christian wants to go on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, so in order to get a lower wait time for that, we’ll probably head straight there. Since Bella isn’t tall enough of Mine Train, whoever is not riding with Christian will probably take her to Dumbo or Little Mermaid.

From there we’ll probably head to Tomorrowland to get most of those rides done before the lines get too long. *Fingers crossed.*

Magic Kingdom is one park where most of what we do really depends on what wait times look like on the My Disney Experience App. There are SO many things to do at MK, that you can’t do it all in one, or even two days. There are some rides, though, that we can’t miss out on. Those include: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway and Dumbo.

On this next trip, Christian is excited to ride Space Mountain for the first time!

If you know us, you know that a trip to Disney World isn’t complete without food! Some must eats at Magic Kingdom include a Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s Tavern and a Dole Whip. When the world is normal, a go-to quick service meal for us includes nachos with lots of toppings from Pecos Bill.

What does your perfect day at Magic Kingdom include?!
