Disney World Ride Showdown - Epcot

 The main reason to go to the parks, at least for most families, aside from food, is for the rides! Last week we started a bracket-style show down for each of the theme parks’ rides! This week we have Epcot! 


We have only included attractions that involve getting into or onto a ride vehicle. We have not included walking trails or show type attractions. We went through the list of attractions and voted on which one we would rather ride from each match up.

We Used Genie+ for the First Time. What did we Think?!

Back in June my sister, Sharon, and I took a girls trip to Disney World! It was a fun trip, and for the first time since it came out, we used Genie+. Today, we're going to share our thoughts about the experience.  What is Genie+?!  Genie+ is the paid for "skip the standyby line" option that replaced Fastpass+. It debuted on October 1, 2021 on the first day of the 50th Anniversary Celebration. This is what the Walt Disney World website says about the service, " Use the Lightning Lane entrances offered through Disney Genie+ service and save time waiting in line. On average, Guests can enter 2 to 3 attractions or experiences per day using Lightning Lane entrances, if the first selection is made early in the day." Dinner at Royal Court on the Disney Fantasy

We’ve mentioned more than a few times that each of the four Disney ships has three main dining rooms. All four ships have the fun Animator’s Palate that we talked about a couple of weeks ago, as well as a themed dining rooms on the Magic and Wonder (Rapunzel’s and Tiana’s) and Enchanted Garden on the Dream and Fantasy. Royal Court, like Royal Palace on the Dream, Triton’s on the Wonder, and Lumiere’s on the Magic is the most upscale of the three main dining rooms. What We're Most Looking Forward to at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival

The 2022 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival started last week and it runs from July 14 through November 19, 2022. There are more than 30 places throughout the festival to get eats, treats, and drinks! Most of the Global Marketplaces are open right now, but there are four booths: Hawai’i, Coastal Eats, Mac & Eats, and The Noodle Exchange, that won’t open until August 15, 2023. We’re excited to try A LOT of the options that are available this year. Here are the Food and Wine Festival items that we’re most looking forward to trying.
