A Look Ahead at 2020

Is it just me or did 2019 fly by?! It has been an exciting year at the Disney Parks and the excitement and magic will continue into 2020. Before we look at what is coming to Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line in 2020, let’s take a look back 2019. 2019 Mickey’s Birthday Party ! Mickey and Minnie Mouse celebrated their 90 th birthday in November 2018 and the celebration continued into 2019. The Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts hosted celebrations that included special meet and greets, merchandise, and treats!                 The Incredibles  came back to Hollywood Studios! Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone took part in a Incredibles Dance Party Guests also had the opportunity to follow clues to try and find Jack-Jack, meet fashion mogul Edna Mode, and enjoy Num Num Cookies at Pixar Place. All this will be taking place at Hollywood Studios. Everyone’s favorite monsters, Mike and Sulley,  returned to Hollywood Studios. As Part of Hollywood Stu

Our Favorite Walt Disney World Resorts

The Walt Disney World Resort has so many options when it comes to places to stay! With three resort levels, and each resort with a unique theme all its own, there is something for everyone! We’ve talked about each of the resort levels before, but today were here to talk about our favorite resorts to stay at and to visit! Stay All-Star Resorts - We’ve stayed at All-Star Music twice, All-Star Movies twice, and All-Star Sports once. I personally have another stay at All-Star Sports booked for next year as well. We love that these three resorts offer larger than life theming, great food at the food courts, fun pools, a jogging path the runs in front of all three resorts, and the price point. We also love that All/Star Music offers family suites that sleep up to 6 for less than the cost of a family suite at Art of Animation. While some guests don’t like that the three resorts share buses during non-peak hours during the day it doesn’t bother us at all. After all, three resorts are

A Picky Eater's Guide to Dining on Disney Cruise Line

We’ve talked about all of the food that we’ve enjoyed during our six cruises so far, and you can expect that to continue after our upcoming cruises as well! Today, though, we’re going to talk about the choices that are available for those picky eaters in your life. All four of us like to try new things. Since both kids started eating solid foods we’ve tried to get them to venture away from the standard chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. We love both of those, but there are so many other options to try, especially on the ship! When Christian was three he ordered roast duck from Triton’s! You never know whether you like something or not unless you try it. We know that not everyone is an adventurous eater, and for those picky eaters Disney has you covered with plenty of options! Breakfast Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! You’ll need energy to fuel your day on the ship and there are options that even the pickiest eaters will enjoy. Eggs (Scrambled, Omelet

Why We Love Magic Kingdom

We have come to the fourth and final Walt Disney World theme park. Magic Kingdom has something that is truly special. It was the first park at the Resort, it has the Castle, and it has a sense of, well, magic. Over the past couple of months we have talked about why we love the different Disney World Parks (Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot). This week we have for you Why We Love Magic Kingdom! It Came First – Magic Kingdom was the first Walt Disney World Park and because of that there is an extra bit of magic to it. Cinderella Castle – Before you even enter the park you can see the beauty that is Cinderella Castle. The views get even better as you enter the park and make your way down Main Street and around the Castle. My favorite view of the castle is from the side next to Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. Main Street U.S.A . – As you enter the park you’re transported back in time to a more simple time. Visit the Town Square Theater to meet Tinker Bell and Mickey
