A Look at Disney's Pop Century

On our trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in February we stayed at Pop Century. The resort is one of the value resorts, and if you’ve read some of our post from past stays you’ll know that we LOVE staying at the Disney World Value Resorts. We had visited Pop during a room only stay a few years ago as part of a resort hopping day, but had never stayed at the resort before. I can happily say that were really enjoyed our stay and are planning on staying at this resort again someday. Like the other four value resorts, All-Star Resorts and Art of Animation, Pop Century has larger than life theming that is especially great for families. This resort is all about pop culture! Around the resort you’ll see larger than life icons from the 1950s through the 1990s. Each decade has two buildings of guest rooms, except for the 90s which has one building. The stairwells on the ends of the buildings feature items unique to that decade! The 50s buildings have bowling pins, the 60s have yo-yo

Star Wars Day at Sea Dining Review

This past weekend Star Wars Celebration took place in Chicago and throughout the weekend live streams let those of us that weren’t there take part in the Star Wars love. During the celebration fans, including myself through live stream, got to look at the amazing Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge lands that are opening at Disneyland and Disney World in the next few months. We also learned the name of Episode IX (Rise of Skywalker), and got to see the trailer for it and the new season of Star Wars: Clone Wars that will be released on Disney+. With all of that I thought it would be fitting to carry on the Star Wars love with a continuation of our Star Wars Day at Sea post from two weeks ago with a review of all of the delicious food that we enjoyed during Star Wars Day aboard the Disney Fantasy. We didn’t want to miss any of the action on Star Wars Day so we opted for a quick lunch from Flo’s CafĂ© on the pool deck. This worked out well for us for two reasons – we got to enjoy delicious, quic

A Lunch Fit for a Toy at Woody's Lunch Box

Two weeks ago we told you all about the amazingly fun and detailed new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The entire land is full of larger than life toys and characters from the movies – if you’re a Toy Story fan you definitely need to stop in for play time on your next trip! When you need to recharge your batteries before getting back to play time for moving onto a different part of the park stop by Woody’s Lunch Box for eats and treats that will satisfy even Space Ranger sized appetites. Atmosphere Toy Story Land was built to look as though Andy had been called inside for some reason and left his toys, including rides that he had built for the toys, outside. Woody’s Lunch Box is just like this as well! Remember, in this land you are a toy as well which means that everything is larger than life. That includes the giant lunch box walk up window, complete with Thermos, carrot and celery sticks, cheese, and sandwich cookies. All of Woody’s Lunch Box is outside. As

Spend a Day in A Galaxy Far, Far Away! (Star Wars Day At Sea)

Time is flying by this year! It has already been two months since we started our epic February trip. Part of that trip was a 7-night sailing on the beautiful Disney Fantasy that included a Star Wars Day at Sea. Star Wars Day at Sea is an epic celebration of all things Star Wars aboard the beautiful Disney Fantasy. Experience Star Wars trivia challenges, character meet and greets, themed food, and end the day with a Star Wars deck party and fireworks. Only select sailings have this day, normally most January through March 7-night sailings, but if you get a chance to experience a Star Wars Day at Sea sailing we highly recommend it! Now, what all can you expect on these special days at sea? We’re glad you asked! Everyone’s experiences are different, but Star Wars Day at Sea was a fun, busy, exciting, delicious, and long day for us. My day started out with a quick run on deck 4 before heading inside to the lobby to take a few photos of the Star Wars banners that had been hung in the
