Disney Cruise Line Dining - Disney Wonder

I don't know about you, but when we think about Disney one of the first things that cones to mind is food. Disney has amazing food in their parks and resorts, but you can also find absolutely amazing food aboard Disney Cruise Line. And there is something for everyone!  Today we're going to give an overview of all of the dining available aboard the Wonder and then over the next few weeks we'll provide reviews of each restaurant and all of the food we enjoyed on our cruise in August.

The Wonder has a wide variety of dining options that include casual/quick service, main dining, buffet, room service, and adult only dining.

Quick Service
The casual or quick service dining is all located poolside on deck 9. These spots are all great for lunch or to grab something between meals.

Pinocchio's Pizzeria offers a variety of pizza options - there's something for everyone.

Goofy's Galley offers lighter options that include sandwiches, wraps, and fresh fruit.

Pluto's Dog House offers hot dogs, burgers, veggie burgers, chicken strips, and fries.

Buffet
Located on deck 9 Beach Blanket Buffet is open for all three meals each day and provides an alternative to the main dining locations should you wish. The buffet offers a wide variety of options, some of which will surprise you - like the chicken pot pie and baked potato bar for lunch.

Parrot Cay, which is a main dining location, also serves buffet style breakfast on select mornings and a seafood lunch buffet on Sundays (at least during the Alaska cruise.)

Room Service
Room service is available 24 hours a day and most items are included in the price of the cruise. (Prepackaged items are not included.) We recommend the cake of the day as well as cookies and milk.

Adults Only
Palo is an adults only restaurant located on deck 10. Here you can enjoy a 4-course Italian meal in an upscale setting. This meal will cost you extra.

Bars and Lounges
There ate various bars and lounges located throughout the ship where you can purchase an adult beverage, or a fancy coffee. In the Outlook Cafe there are free pastries.

Main Dining
These are the locations where you will be scheduled for dinner each evening. As we're sure you know, Disney Cruise Line has what is called rotational dining. At check in you will be provided with a ticket that will tell you which restaurant you will be eating at each night. On the first night of the cruise you will meet your dining team - they will be with you each night of the cruise. When you show up to dinner each night they will be there waiting. They will great you by name and they will get to know what you like.

Now that we've covered how dining works let's tell you a little bit about each restaurant.

Animator's Palate - Located on deck 4, this restaurant puts on a show each night. The cuisine changes on theme nights, but Asian and California fare are the mainstay on the first three nights of the Alaskan cruise.

Parrot Cay - Located on deck 3 this tropical restaurant offers island cuisine.

Triton's - Located on deck 3 this upscale restaurant offers delicious French cuisine.

Extras
You can also purchase snacks outside of the Walt Disney Theater at Preludes and outside of the Buena Vista Theater.

There is so much amazing food to be had aboard the wonder and we can't wait to share it all with you in the coming weeks.
