Disney Wonder Dining - Frozen Theme Night

On the fourth day of our Alaska cruise we visited the gorgeous town of Skagway, we had a great time. When we returned to the ship for the evening it was almost time for dinner at Animator’s Palate. Yes, if you are on cruise that is longer than three nights you will eat at the same restaurants, but have no fear the menu will not be the same every time! This particular night was Frozen night – the restaurants, the lobby and the pool deck were all decked out for the day and that night there was a Frozen deck party! On to dinner… The first thing that we noticed when we entered the dining room was the attire of the head servers – they could easily have survived in the Norwegian Fjords. To start out the meal we were treated to Knackebrod, a Dark Rye Bread with Liver Pate. It was quite tasty! Christian liked it and at the time he was only 14 months old! Following the bread we sampled three appetizers between the three of us. The kid’s Minestrone Soup was full of veggi

Disney Wonder Dining - Triton's Dinner Review

Triton’s is the third main dining restaurant. It is located at deck 3 mid ship and is one of the first things that you see when you board the ship. It is the most upscale of the three main dining location and one of the two entrances is between the two grand stair cases. As the name gives away, the restaurant has a Little Mermaid theme. When you arrive at your table you will find an elegant table setting complete with an intricately folded napkin. Your server will bring your menus on the cover of which you will find the name of the restaurant as well as King Triton’s trident. Food On this particular evening we were presented with a crusty French bread that fit well wi

Okay everyone, life is officially not as hectic anymore! We finally have time to blog regularly again – so let’s talk about some more Disney Cruise Line food. Today we have Parrot Cay. We ate dinner at Parrot Cay on our second night aboard the Wonder. This night just happened to be formal night, so we all got dressed up, felt pretty, and just happened to be in the most casual of the three main dining restaurants on this evening. No matter, while none of us like dressing up regularly we enjoyed doing it on the cruise. Now, Parrot Cay is located on deck three all of the way at the back of the ship. It has an island flair to it and is decorated with reds, blues, and greens as well as tropical birds. Also, be sure to check out the light fixtures on the walls – it’s Sebastian the crab from The Little Mermaid! The island features are what makes Parrot Cay feel more relaxed than the other two main dining locations. After we were seated we anxiously awaited some delicious Disney C
