Our Perfect Day at Hollywood Studios

For the last couple of weeks, we’ve been sharing what we would do on our perfect day at each of the Walt Disney World theme parks. In our last post we talked about Epcot! This week we’re here to talk about what we would see, do, and eat on our perfect day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

An absolutely perfect day at Hollywood Studios would start before we even leave our hotel room, with scoring a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance. With that secured at 7am, we would enjoy breakfast at the hotel (at least right now with the park not opening until 9am.)

After breakfast, we’d head out to the car and drive to Hollywood Studios to wait in line to be let into the park. There are a lot of good options for a first ride of the day, but I think that best option for the whole family would be to go straight to Toy Story Land to ride on Slinky Dog Dash before the line gets too long. After that, I think the best option would be to do Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania while we’re in the area.

From there, we’d head to Galaxy’s Edge! By now it’s probably around lunch time, so we’d order a Ronto Wrap and a snack sampler from Ronto Roasters! We’d also get a blue milk from the Milk Stand.

After lunch we’d ride Smuggler’s Run! And then, because it’s our perfect day, it would be time for our boarding group to ride Rise of the Resistance.

Now that we’ve done everything Galaxy’s Edge, let’s mobile order a Wookie Cookie for snack from Backlot Express and grab a Num Num Cookie from The Market to split.

After our snack, the boys can ride Star Tours (it gives me a headache), while Bella and I check out Disney Junior Dance Party or the Frozen Sing-A-Long. After Star Tours, we’ll meet up for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

If the wait time isn’t too long, I might go on Tower of Terror, with Christian or alone. If I go alone, then maybe the kids and Howard can ride something in Toy Story Land!

After ToT, I’ll meet everyone else in Toy Story Land, maybe Slinky’s wait time will be low for a dusk ride. We’ll finish off our dining for the day with a quick meal at Woody’s Lunch Box (if it’s still during covid times), during non-covid times be might do a sit-down meal at Sci-Fi Dine-In.

I think the best way to finish off the night would be to walk through a sunset, or dark Galaxy’s Edge, and then maybe one last ride on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.

What would you do on your perfect day?!
