Our Perfect Day at Epcot
In our last post, we talked about our perfect day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Today, we have for you, what we would see, eat, and do on our perfect day at Epcot!
For those of you that don’t know, Epcot is my favorite
Walt Disney World theme park. I love walking around World Showcase and seeing different
cultures from around the world represented. I love all of the global cuisine
that is available throughout World Showcase! And I’m excited for all of the
changes that are coming to Epcot over the next few years.
My perfect day at Epcot would definitely take place
during one of Epcot’s festivals that take place throughout the year. At this
very moment, the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is taking
place, and if all goes as planned, our next trip to the Walt Disney World
Resort will be during this festival. With that said, I’ll share our perfect day
at Epcot during the International Flower and Garden Festival with the current
festival menu items I would choose.
Since Epcot opens later than the other three parks, at
least at the moment, I would start my day at a more relaxed pace than on other
days. I would try to get to the park at around 10 – 10:15 for an 11am park
opening.
Snapping photos along the way, I would make my way to
Test Track first. This is Christian’s favorite ride at Epcot, and I’m pretty
sure it’s his favorite in all of Disney World. After a ride on Test Track, we
would ride Mission: Space since it’s so close by. From there, we would make our
way into World Showcase, probably towards Regal Eagle Smokehouse for lunch.
After that, we’d explore World Showcase, taking
photos, riding Gran Fiesta Tour, and enjoying Festival snacks.
After World Showcase, we’d be sure to try for a ride
on Soarin’ if the wait time isn’t too long, While we’re in the Land Pavilion,
we’d also ride Living with the Land. Can’t forget about Journey Into
Imagination with Figment and The Seas with Nemo and Friends.
After that, we’d finish off Future World with
Spaceship Earth.
During normal times, I’d love to finish the day with
dinner at Garden Grill and fireworks. But for the time being, I’ll settle with
walking around World Showcase as the sun goes down, and some more tasty Epcot
food.
Based on the current Epcot International Flower and
Garden Festival menus, these are the things that we would like to enjoy:
·
Toasted Pretzel Bread topped with Black
Forest Ham and Melted Gruyère Cheese
·
Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites with Cream Cheese
Frosting and Candied Bacon
·
Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille,
Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel: Caramelized Beignet Filled with Vanilla Cream
and Glazed with Caramel Fleur de Sel
What would your perfect day at Epcot look like?!
