Why We Love Epcot!

Each of the four Walt Disney World parks has so much to offer and we love each of the four parks for different reason. We’ve talked about why we love Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, and today we’re going to talk about why we love Epcot!

A lot of people tend to skip Epcot, or not spend as much time there as some of the other parks. As a family we all love Epcot, and personally it is my favorite park! So, why do we love Epcot?!

Snacks – We’ve talked about our love for Disney snacks before and Epcot is the leader in tasty snacks, at least for us. Each of the eleven counties around World Showcase offers unique and cultural snacks. One of our favorites is School Bread from the Norway Pavilion.

Test Track – You do feel the need for speed? If so then Test Track is the perfect ride for you! Christian was so excited to finally be tall enough to ride Test Track on our last trip and he loved it! See how cars are tested before they hit the road, and experience 65 MPH in a convertible.

Mission Space – Christian was tall enough for this attraction on our last trip as well, and he loved it! Blast off into space, let your little ones play on the playground, and check out cool space themed merchandise.

Spaceship Earth – As a history lover I love this ride. Travel through time and learn about how the world, and humanity, became the way it is today thanks to advancements in communication. It’s a great ride that everyone can enjoy.

The Land Pavilion – Soarin’, Sunshine Seasons, Living with the Land, the Garden Grill. We love the entire Pavilion. Soarin’ is a lot of fun, and Christian really enjoyed his first hang gliding experience on our last trip. We love the eats and treats available at Sunshine Seasons! And floating through the greenhouses during the Living with the Land attraction is a fun, and educational, experience. It’s so cool to see the fruit, veggies, grains, and more that they serve at restaurants throughout the resort.

Garden Grill – Yes, Garden Grill is part of the Land Pavilion, but we love it so much that it gets its own line in our post. We love the food, the locations, the uniqueness of the restaurant (it spins and looks into the Living with the Land attraction), and the characters. We love it all.

Figment – We love the Journey into Imagination attraction as a whole. Christian loves the interactive Image Works after the ride. And we all love Figment!

Biergarten – We love German food! We love the overall experience at Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion – the food, the entertainment, the atmosphere.

Festivals – Epcot has festivals throughout the year. Each festival focuses on something unique, but they all have something in common. They all offer delicious food and drinks from around the world! We have taken part in the Food and Wine Festival and the Festival of the Arts and loved them both. We’re hoping to make it to the Flower and Garden Festival sometime in the future.

World Showcase – We love World Showcase. Eleven counties, each represented by unique architecture, entertainment, food, and cultural ambassadors, all around a beautiful lagoon. What’s not to love?!

Characters – Epcot offers a variety of character meet and greet opportunities from Mickey and Minnie to princesses in their native nations, Donald Duck in a sombrero in Mexico and more!

The Seas with Nemo – The Seas Pavilion offers the chance to learn, play, and enjoy the world of Nemo and Friends. The ride and Turtle Talk with Crush are a lot of fun! The kids love the play in Bruce’s Shark World, and we love looking at all of the animals throughout the Pavilion.

Frozen – I loved the Maelstrom, and I miss it, and the short line. However, the Frozen Ever After attraction is adorable and definitely worth a Fastpass!

Gran Fiesta Tour – Christian loves the Gran Fiesta Tour in the Mexico Pavilion. It’s a nice, peaceful boat ride that celebrates Mexico and the Three Caballeros.

The Future – Epcot is a celebration of the different cultures from around the world and a celebration of the future!

Changes – A LOT of changes are coming to Epcot in the next few years and we’re excited to see them all during our future trips!
