Lunch at Epcot's Electric Umbrella

Each trip we like to try at least one new place to eat, and on our last trip on of those places of The Electric Umbrella at Epcot. If you’ve been to Epcot you’ve walked past this quick service eatery and might not even know it! It is located in the central hub of Epcot near the Fountain of Nations and across from Mouse Gear. If you haven’t eaten here before you should at it to your list for your next trip – it’s worth it.

Step inside and you’ll find lots of indoor seating, neon lights and delicious food. The menu here features a variety of different options including burgers, Three-Cheese Flatbread, chicken nuggets, a Chicken Prosciutto Mozzarella Sandwich and healthy options like Vegetable Quinoa Salad, and an Energy Salad with or without chicken.

On our trip we tried the Mojo Pulled Pork Burger, the Brisket Sandwich, and the Kid’s Three-Cheese Flatbread.

The Mojo Pulled Pork Burger – a 1/3lb Angus burger topped with tender, marinated Mojo Pork – is sweet and savory, and delicious. The two meats go together perfectly, and the Cilantro Lime Aioli makes the sandwich even better.

The brisket on the Brisket Sandwich has been slow-cooked and is marinated in au jus. It is juicy, tender, and full of delicious beef flavor. It is served on a toasted bun with beer cheese that pairs perfectly with the meat.

Both sandwiches were delicious, we would definitely order them again! They were both also served with the standard, but delicious, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside French Fries.

Christian ordered the kid’s version of the Three-Cheese Flatbread. Crispy flatbread topped with melty Parmesan, Provolone, and Mozzarella. He loves pizza and he loved this. He decided on fries as his side and he quite enjoyed them as well.

We really enjoyed our food, and our time in the air conditioning at the Electric Umbrella. We highly recommend stopping by for a burger or flatbread the next time you’re hungry in Future World!
