Disney Cruise Line Very MerryTime Cruises Activities

Disney Cruise Line offers special seasonal and holiday sailings which include Halloween on the High Seas and Very MerryTime Cruises. Halloween on the High Seas takes place in September and October, and Very MerryTime Cruises take place in November and December. Our cruise this past November was a Very MerryTime sailing. The hallways, restaurants, kid’s clubs and even Castaway Cay were decked out for the Christmas season. Garland and Christmas bulbs in the main hallways and restaurants, a tree, garland and Mr. and Mrs. Sandman on Castaway Cay and in the lobby there was a giant Christmas tree and HUGE gingerbread house. In addition to the decorations there were a lot of great Christmas activities! We tried to take part in all of them so that we could share about them with you. On the very first evening of the cruise the Christmas tree in the lobby is lit up. After the tree lighting ceremony it remains lit for the remainder of the cruise. Walt Disney World Moderate Resorts

Today we have installment two of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels series! The Walt Disney World Resort has over 20 resort hotels on property – this gives you A LOT of options to choose from – so how do you decide? That’s a great question! Where you stay depends on what you, the guest, are looking for. How much time do you want to spend at the resort and in your room? What type of recreation options do you want to have at your fingertips? What type of dining options would you like to have at your resort? What is your budget? These are all important things to take into consideration when you are deciding what resort to stay at. Today we’re going to discuss the Disney Moderate Resorts. These resorts are a step up from the Value Resorts. The Value Resorts we talked about last time really have a Disney feel to them, these Moderate Resorts have a slightly classier theme, but they all offer the magic of Disney. What are you options? Tiana's Place on the Disney Wonder

One of the changes that came to the Disney Wonder has part of the refurbishments during the fall was Tiana’s Place. Tiana’s is a main dining restaurant that took the place of Parrot Cay. If you’re familiar with Disney’s the Princess and the Frog you’ll know that it was Tiana’s dream to open a restaurant. Tiana’s Place is her dream come true! When you enter the restaurant you’ll feel as though you’ve left the ship and been transported to New Orleans! As soon as you enter you’re met with balconies, beads and brick – welcome to Mardi Gras! Step a little further inside to find a grand dining room with tributes to all of Tiana’s friends and family. The table décor features lily pads and frogs! At the very front of the room is a stage where the Crawfish Crooners entertain guests with live music throughout the night. The cuisine at Tiana’s has a Cajun flair, but don’t worry if you’re not a fan of spice there is something for everyone. There are also a few menu items that pay trib

Walt Disney World Value Resorts

Things have been kind of crazy lately, but I have worked out a new schedule and have gotten a new opening that allows for more time to write here! This new opening should allow me to share at least two if not more posts a week! The Walt Disney World Resort has over 20 resort hotels on property – this gives you A LOT of options to choose from – so how do you decide? That’s a great question! Where you stay depends on what you, the guest, are looking for. How much time do you want to spend at the resort and in your room? These are all important things to take into consideration when you are deciding what resort to stay at. Today we’re going to discuss the Disney Value Resorts. These resorts a big on theme and not so big on price! I personally think that these resorts feel more “Disney” than those in other categories. Eac
