FairFax Fare at Disney's Hollywood Studios

On our last trip to Disney World we decided to try something new at Hollywood Studios – we like to try to add a new dining experience or restaurant every time we go. This time one of the new to us places that we tried was Fairfax Fare. Fairfax Fare is located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios near to other dining options like Rosie’s All-American Café and Catalina Eddie’s. It is directly across from Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. The restaurant itself is a simple walk up window where you order and then wait for your food. All of the seating is outside and it is shared with Rosie’s Catalina Eddie’s, but there is A LOT of it. From your table you can enjoy the scenery and the sunshine, listen to the screams coming from the Tower of Terror and people watch. The Food If you like classic barbecue fare, then you’ll enjoy the offerings at Fairfax Fare. The menu includes eats like spareribs, chicken, pulled pork, chili-cheese dogs, and a pulled pork salad. Seasonal Cupcake - Village Haus Restaurant Disneyland

Do you like cake? What about cupcakes? We LOVE Disney cupcakes! We haven’t disliked a single one that we’re had, and we’re tried quite a few. On our last trip to Disneyland we tried a cupcake from The Village Haus Restaurant and it was super tasty. The Village Haus Restaurant is located in Fantasyland across from the Casey Junior Circus Train attraction. The theme of the restaurant is Pinocchio, and features décor and paintings that make you feel as though you have joined the little once wooden now real boy’s world. On the menu you’ll find sandwiches, burgers, sausages and more. On this trip, however, we only stopped in for their seasonal cupcake. We were happily surprised to find out that the cake was a lot like a Black Forest Cake! (My second favorite cake – Miriya.) The cake itself was a rich chocolate cake and it was topped with a whipped cream-like icing chocolate shards and cherries. The icing was light and cut through the richness of the chocolate cake. The cher

Old Port Royale Food Court - Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

It has been forever since we posted and we apologize for that! Things got really busy with work, school work and moving half way across the country (and the time put in to get ready for the move), but now everything is back to normal, or as normal as it can be so we will be posting regularly again. If you're wondering, we moved from California to Texas, one hot place to another, and are now half way between the two US Disney Parks. We just had to stop at Walt's original park, Disneyland, one last time before we moved away and we tried some new things that we'll share with you in the next couple of weeks! We're also looking forward to starting to share about our Bahamas cruise aboard the Disney Magic from February. Today, though, we would like to share with you one of our dining experiences on our last trip to Disney World. As you know, we technically had two Disney World trips in February, during one we enjoy time in the parks, and the second was room only. D
