Fastpasses at Disneyland

The last time we wrote we were at Disney World enjoying the third part of a three part trip – it was AMAZING! We started the trip with a few days in the parks at Disney World, after that we boarded the Disney Magic and send three nights sailing the Bahamas, and we finished the trip back at Disney World for a room only portion. We had a great time. Now, we know, you’re all thinking, “Not more cruise talk!” Don’t worry, it will be a while before we share about our cruise. We have tons of Disneyland and Disney World stuff to share! Since, and including, last March we have been to Disneyland four times – so we have a lot of information to share with you. And of course, we have new Disney World information to share as well! So, hold onto your ear hats – here we go!

We’ve talked about food a lot lately, so we’re going to get away from food – at least for today – and we’re going to talk about Fastpasses at Disneyland.

There’s a lot of talk out there about Fastpass+ at Disney World, and there has been since it came to be. Well, Disneyland is still using paper Fastpasses – it makes it so that Disneyland trip require less advance planning.

So, you decide you want to go on a ride, but you don’t want to wait in that 75 minute wait to go on an adventure with Indiana Jones. Just grab a Fastpass and come back during your allotted time.

Also, unlike Disney World, not all Disneyland or California Adventure attractions have fastpasses available – it is like the pre-Fastpass+ days at Disney World. So, what attractions have Fastpass?

Disneyland Attractions with Fastpass
·         Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
·         Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
·         Haunted Mansion
·         Hyperspace Mountain
·         Indiana Jones Adventure
·         Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin
·         Star Tours – The Adventure Continues
·         Splash Mountain

California Adventure Attractions with Fastpasses
·         California Screamin
·         Goofy’s Sky School
·         Grizzly River Run
·         Radiator Springs Racers
·         Soarin’
·         Tower of Terror

Just keep in mind that the bigger name attractions out of these can and most likely will run out before the end of the day.

Alright everyone, in our next post we’ll most likely be talking about food since that is what is the most fun to write about! It is also weird for Miriya to be writing about topics other than reviews here since posts like this one are what she does for her other writing engagement.

Have a good week everyone!
