Our Favorite Disney World Snack Credit Snacks
We
love all of the rides, shows, character meet opportunities, resorts and well,
everything about the Walt Disney World Resort. One of our very favorite things
about a Disney vacation, though, is the food! We love planning our dining
reservations in advance, and as we get closer to a trip we all enjoy reading
through the menus for each place that we have a reservation booked for. We also
love, I mean LOVE, using snack credits for treats throughout the day. Today
we’re going to tell you all about our favorite Disney World treats that you can
use a snack credit for and where you can find them!
Ice
Cream Cookie Sandwich – These are by far one of our favorites. Christian
especially loves them! Creamy vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two
chocolate chip cookies. They’re a great snack for sharing and can be found in
Magic Kingdom (Sleepy Hollow and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor), Animal Kingdom (Dino-Bite
Snacks), and Hollywood Studios (Hollywood Scoops)
Dole
Whip – These creamy and sweet cups of pineapple deliciousness have a bite of a
cult following, but with good reason. They are so good! You can get just the
soft serve or an adult version with rum at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Animal
Kingdom, or you can get the soft serve or a Dole Whip Float (soft serve with
pineapple juice) at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom.
Carrot
Cake Cookie – We love carrot cake. All of us. Christian asked for carrot cake
for his fourth birthday party after all. If you’re like us and love carrot cake
then you’ll love this Carrot Cake Cookie. Even though changes are being made at
Hollywood Studios you can still get your hands on this delicious treat. You can
find this soft and moist carrot cake cookie – two cookies sandwiched around
rich cream cheese frosting – at the Trolley Car Café (Starbucks) in Hollywood
Studios.
Cinnamon
Roll – A soft cinnamon roll topped with sweet icing big enough to share as a
snack or perfect for breakfast! You can find it at Gaston’s Tavern in Magic
Kingdom.
School
Bread – This Norwegian treat is one of our favorites. A slightly sweet bread
filled with sweet cardamom cream and topped with toasted coconut. It can
normally be found at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion at
Epcot.
Ice
Cream in France – You can find all kinds of different ice cream throughout the
parks. The ice cream in France is a real treat, though. Relax with a cup or
cone of one of sixteen amazing flavors of ice cream and feel like you’re in
France! In addition to the traditional cups and cones French macarons filled
with rich creamy ice cream. Pressed brioche ice cream sandwiches and grown up
ice cream martinis are also available for purchase. All of these treats can be
found at L’Artisan des Glaces tucked away in the France Pavilion at Epcot.
Pastries
– If you’re like us and love pastries you won’t want to miss your chance at
getting your hands on authentic French pastries in Epcot’s France Pavilion. Les
Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie can be found all the way in the back of this
Pavilion, but it definitely worth the trip. Open all day, yes, even for
breakfast, Les Halles offer sweet treats, savory sandwiches, and French
baguettes. Some of our favorite treats from Les Halles include the baguettes,
Frangipane, Beignets, and Pa au Chocolat.
Gelato
– We love ice cream, and we may love gelato even more. With a variety of
flavors to choose from Vivoli il Gelato at Disney Springs offers the chance to
indulge in this delicious Italian treat with a view. Our favorite flavors
include Peanut Butter and Dark Cherry.
Cinnamon
Glazed Nuts – As you walk through all four parks you’ll be hit with the
inviting smell of sweet roasting nuts. We love these warm (temperature and from
the cinnamon) roasted nuts. They are the perfect on the go crunchy snack! You
can find them at various carts throughout the parks.
Flavored
Popcorn – There are A LOT of popcorn stands throughout the parks, but our
favorite is the flavored popcorn located near Journey into Imagination in
Epcot’s Future World. This stand offers three flavors, Cheddar Cheese, Buffalo
Bleu Cheese, and Sour Cream and Chives. The Sour Cream and Chives is our
favorite – it tastes just like sour cream and chive crackers!
Chocolate
and Caramel – Mmm chocolate! No trip to Disney World is complete without a stop
at Karamell Kuche in Epcot’s Germany Pavilion. If you’re a chocolate fan, or a
caramel fan, or a chocolate and caramel fan then this place is for you. Bakery
cases full of chocolates, caramels, and chocolate caramel combination treats as
well as fresh made caramel corn. The chocolate sea salt caramel square is one
of our favorites here.
Soup
– We’re pumpkin fans in this house. We’re talking actual pumpkin, not just
pumpkin spice. And in the fall and winter each year you can find a Pumpkin Soup
at Epcot’s Sunshine Seasons. Creamy rich pumpkin soup topped with sour cream
and pumpkin seeds is a great treat that will warm you up on those surprise
chilly days in Florida. If this soup is on the menu during your trip don't pass it up!
Whoopie
Pie – Two fluffy red-velvet cake like cookies sandwiched around sweet and tangy
cream cheese frosting awaits you at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot.
Crepes
– Enjoy a delicious French treat from this water side stand in Epcot’s France
Pavilion. Traditional French crepes are served with chocolate sauce, butter and
sugar, strawberry preserves, or vanilla ice cream. The chocolate is our favorite.
Churro
– Found throughout the parks these sweet Mexican doughnut sticks are served
warm with warm chocolate sauce and are a perfect on the go treat.
All
American Sundae – Again with the Ice Cream, I know, this sundae from the Plaza
Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom is the perfect
combination of ice cream and toppings. Old Fashioned Vanilla and Chocolate ice
cream topped with hot fudge, a delicious peanut butter drizzle, whipped cream
and a cherry on top.
Float
(Auntie Gravity’s) – At Auntie Gravity’s in Tomorrowland you can make a float
out of any soft drink, our favorite is an orange Fanta float.
Looking
forward to:
Lunch
Box Tart – On our next trip we are looking forward to trying at least one of
the two lunch box tarts at the brand new Woody’s Lunch Box in Hollywood
Studio’s Toy Story Land. The tarts come in two flavors, Raspberry and Chocolate
Hazelnut.
As
you can tell we like to snack while we’re at the Walt Disney World Resort and there
are so many options to choose from – these are just our favorites!
