The Garden Grill Breakfast Review

On our last trip to Walt Disney World we took advantage of an early breakfast reservation at The Garden Grill. Until November this restaurant only served dinner, but in the fall they added breakfast and lunch to their plate. He had enjoyed dinner here on our trip in the beginning on 2015 and we just had to try something new for our short trip at the beginning of 2016. We started our day bright and early.. okay it was actually a really foggy day. We boarded the first possible Epcot bus, which arrived around 7am at our resort, All Star Movies. After a short bus ride we arrived at Epcot where we got our bags checked, checked in with a clipboard-wielding cast member and waited with everyone else that had an early breakfast reservation. Two table service restaurants inside of Epcot serve breakfast before the park opens, The Garden Grill and Akershus in the Norway Pavilion of World Showcase. Akershus and Les Halles are the only World Showcase locations that open before 11am.

Disney's California Food and Wine Festival Review

The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival has returned this year, giving those that visit the Disneyland Resort the opportunity to enjoy delicious eats and refreshing drinks that are influenced by the great state of California. There are a variety of options, so there is something to fit every palate, served at eight different booths along the main area of California Adventure Park. The festival began on April 1 and runs through May 1. We were at Disneyland this past week and were able to sample six dishes, that’s what we’re here to talk about. They open at 11am and during the week there are, or at least were minimal lines. Lines will be longer during the weekend. The Annual Passholder Lounge, where you can pick up your free button, watch a short film, and charge you phone is open all wee

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

One of our favorite things to do at Epcot is eat. We love the rides and the entertainment, but walking through the countries of the World Showcase and sampling a snack or enjoying a meal really makes you feel, if only for a few moments, that you really could be in the UK or France. Speaking of France, if pastries are your thing then you need to make your way to the very back of the France Pavilion to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. To find this bakery walk past the fountain and L’artisian des Glaces and pass under the arches into the store. After you look through the souvenirs continue on to the very back, all you have to do is follow your nose!     There are two sides, each with the same things, so if both lines are open choose the one that is the shortest – that way you can get your treats sooner! All of the amazing treats are out for all to see along the counter, if there is a line and you aren’t at a point where you can see the treats, don’t worry, there are boa
